This has been a week of exciting announcements for Kinetic Six. Firstly, we’ve been celebrating our 7 year anniversary and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and wished us well on the day! Then came the much welcome announcement of the UK ivory ban which was music to our ears! And finally, we just received word that we have been selected as a finalist for ‘Best Use of Technology’ in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber Business Awards for 2018!
We are incredibly proud to have been selected as a finalist for the work we do in technology. Over the last 7 years we have worked extensively delivering dynamic and innovative secure global communication infrastructures and asset tracking solutions in some of the most remote and difficult areas to operate in the world.
The main body of our work however lies in our passion: conservation. Our communication solutions are an integral part of many projects undertaken by organisations in Africa in an attempt to combat the endemic poaching of endangered species and facilitate the economic and ecological development of the communities who reside there.
Conservation and our past experiences has taught us to look closely at how we deliver our networks and support them through our technology services, remote support and training packages. Collectively with our partners we believe we now have a huge influence in the way of our planning, delivery, support and bespoke training.
The K-STAC (Kinetic Six – Support and Technical Assistance to Anti-Poaching and Conservation) is a support model which has been conceived to address the capability gap currently observed across the technical assurance and support of operational radio networks across all current Anti-Poaching and Conservation entities.
K-STAC and affiliated bespoke training technology is a ‘first’ in anti-poaching conservation which we believe will revolutionise the way network operations are sustained in conservation and truly allow park managers and their staff to focus on their daily activities rather than be consumed with comms network maintenance and assurance concerns. With this model, in strong collaboration and partnership with the client and the technology partners, this will present long term positive change for communications in conservation and give that feeling of being as one technically with the added experience of being within the walls of Phantom House, Kinetic Six HQ.
We are extremely proud of our contribution to the protective and anti-poaching activities of these partners and especially proud to be the technical advisor and preferred provider to some of the largest conservation organisations in the world.
We are incredibly pleased with the commendation and honoured to be in the final for ‘Best Use of Technology’ at the Chamber Business Awards.
