Katherine, our first intern of the summer, discusses the exciting and newly accessible equipment and kit from Kinetic Six and the University of York Lacrosse Club:
Over the next 3 months Kinetic Six will be giving York University students, all from our sponsored University of York Lacrosse Club (UYLC), an opportunity to come down to our UK HQ, Phantom House. This will give them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the company, learn more about us at Kinetic Six and what we do and most importantly strengthen our relationship with them for the next year with hopefully another exciting season of sport.
On the weekend of the 29th April, York University competed against Lancaster in the largest inter-university sports tournament in Europe: Roses. The tournament, in which teams from both universities compete in fifty different disciplines, happens every year, alternating its venue between the two universities. This year it was hosted in York, home of our incredible sponsored club University of York Lacrosse, and it was thanks in part to the club’s amazing wins in both the male and female events that York University was able to win the tournament proving once more that Roses Are WHITE!
Amidst all our exciting announcements we have a new story to share with you all: this year Kinetic Six are proud to be sponsoring something a little bit different. In June, Edinburgh student Josh Waley is going to join the Bhubesi Pride as a rugby coach on an expedition supporting community development in schools and community centres across five African countries.
